NWSCC Ladies Ride gets a revamp!
We have been talking about extending ourselves beyone Parramatta Park and with the Park closed for the Pink Triathlon October 30th, what better opportunity. The October ride we'll be offering two ride options so that there's something to suit everyone.
For the women who have loved the challenge of our Parramatta Park rides, we'll be meeting at Sydney Olympic Park for 4-5 laps around the park. This is a course that is very bike friendly but also offers some opportunities to practice cornering and to ride with some experienced riders who can help you with some tips and tricks. For the 5 laps, you will be riding approximately 20 kms and then we stop for a coffee and a chat (because what is a ride without coffee).
Meet: 7 Murray Rose Avenue, Sydney Olympic Park (in front of Park Bikes)
Time: 7.30am
For women who are up for a BIGGER CHALLENGE, we'll be riding to Sydney Olympic Park from the Etta, where we will be meeting the other ladies. Together we will enjoy 4-5 laps around the park. After coffee, we'll head back to the Etta together. This will be a great opportunity to ride a different route. Ride will be approximately 74kms.
Meet: Ettamogah Hotel, Rouse Hill
Time: 6am
Unfortunately I won't be able to make the ride this month as I will be doing the Pink Triathlon; however, the lovely Kim Stokeld has organised this lovely ride for you all. Choose your ride and enjoy - look for Kim with the yellow ribbon on her helmet!
